Tuensang, September 12 (MExN): The Longkhim Project for Poshan Maah 2020 was launched at CDPO office, Longkhim on September 10.
EAC Longkhim, H Aloto Shohe shared on the importance of nutrition and its benefits during such pandemic. He said, “As human, we need good nutrients for our life to live a healthy life.” EAC stressed on proper hygiene in order to live healthy.
CDPO Longkhim, C Tsalito Sangtam while delivering keynote address spoke on why and how Poshan Maah (nutritional month) will be observed. He also spoke on proper hand wash and safety measures for day to day life.
Later, EAC Longkhim initiated the Poshan Maah pledge for the participants.
On the occasion, demonstration on hand washing at Anganwadi centre under Longkhim project was also held. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Supervisor Phungpila.
