Dimapur, October 5 (MExN): The Office of the Longkhum Putu Menden today issued a press release “to dispel the news published in local papers on October 3, that the “Longkhum Village Council/Putu Menden/Longkhum Tatar never discussed in any of the meeting about the stated matter.”
A press release issued by Longkhum Putu Menden, chairman, I Sendong Jamir and Secretary, Toshi Longchar stated that “Some certain individual from Longkhum village in the name of Longkhum Council has tarnished the image of Longkhum by publishing the stated matter in the local dailies.”
“As such the Longkhum Village council endorses the matter to the Longkhum Citizen's forum/Senso Mungdang since the matter is abnormal and serious and till the matter is settled all the signatories remain suspended,’ the Longkhum Putu Menden stated.
