Longleng, August 8 (DIPR): As decided during the last DPDB meeting, the District Administration of Longleng has informed that a mass social work will be conducted in the district headquarters and sub-division level on August 11 from 6:30 am – 9:30 am.
Therefore, all the citizens of Longleng Town have been directed to engage in the mass social work by cleaning their residences, surroundings, drainages, roads within their respective wards and colonies. Residents have also been asked to collect the waste and garbage near the roadside for disposing off by the truck.
Meanwhile, all the shopkeepers have been directed to clean and whitewash their shops before the Independence Day celebration. The government officers and the educational institutions were also directed to clean their respective offices and schools.
The government officers, NGOs leaders, GBs & DBs and the ward leaders have been told to supervise and monitor the mass social work within their respective jurisdiction for clean and green Longleng.
