Doctor of District Hospital Longleng with Dr Imotemsu and Dr Lanuakum on June 18.
Longleng, June 20 (MExN): A welcome and farewell programme was held to honour the outgoing Medical Superintendent Dr Imotemsu and welcome the new Medical Superintendent Dr Lanuakum at the MS Chamber, District Hospital Longleng on June 18. The event was attended by medical professionals and hospital staff.
The programme was chaired by Lipom (Vaccinator), with an invocation led by Chingphuh, Ophthalmic Assistant. Short speeches were delivered on behalf of the nursing staff by Lily Phom (Sister-in-Charge) and on behalf of the doctors by Dr Cha-e, Junior Specialist, expressing heartfelt gratitude highlighting the contributions of Dr Imotemsu and best wishes.
A special presentation was given by Dr Nounenuo Terhase, Senior Specialist, she spoke on the contributions of Dr Imotemsu during his tenure as MS, and welcoming Dr Lanuakum to the new role. This was followed by speeches from the incoming MS Dr Lanuakum and the outgoing MS Dr Imotemsu, both reflecting on their professional journeys and shared commitments to improving healthcare services in the district.
