Longleng, September 4 (MExN): In pursuance of the guidelines on Unlock-4, ADC & Administrator Longleng, D Robin has issued an order in supersession of all previous order issued earlier with immediate effect.
As per the order, all restaurant, hotels, other hospitality units, barber shops, salons, beauty parlors and second hand clothes shops are allowed to open and function subjected to strict compliance of the guidelines.
Necessary guidelines on prevention measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, such as compulsory wearing of face mask, strict maintenance of social distancing and provisions for hand washing, sanitization and other safety protocols should be strictly adhered to.
For person above the age of 65 years of age, person with co-morbidities, pregnant women and children below the age of 10, the order advises them to stay home, except for essential and health purposes.
“Spitting and smoking in public places is strictly prohibited,” it stated.
Takeaways to be encouraged, instead of dine-in, directly contact should be avoided with customers while handing the food packets.
For gatherings, “sitting arrangement to be made in such a way that adequate social distancing is maintained, not more than 50% seating capacity to be permitted.”
Only asymptomatic staff and patrons shall be allowed. Used of good quality disposable paper napkins instead of cloth napkins. All entrance should have mandatory hand hygiene and thermal screening provisions.
For barber shops or salons and beauty parlors, only selected services such as haircut, dyeing hair, threading, waxing etc are allowed, skin related services are not permitted. Clients are encourage to bring own gown and towels.
All equipments and non-disposable tools and frequently touched objects or surfaces like chair, table clothes, door knobs, handlers, taps, sinks and floor or common areas must be cleaned with sodium hypochlorite solution.
In case of cash payment, customers should be encouraged to pay the exact amount to reduce physical contact. No staff or client shall be allowed, if he or she is having COVID-19 like symptoms like fever, cough, difficulty in breathing etc.
“Any violation of the above mentioned guidelines and protocols shall attract action as per legal provisions thereof,” the order stated.
