Longleng, February 19 (MExN): Nagaland DGP T John Longkumer, IPS today informed that a Special Task Force (STF) of the Nagaland Armed Police (NAP) will be commissioned at the newly inaugurated Yonglok Police Station under Longleng District within two months.
The task force will be equipped with advanced weapons and equipment, he assured, according to a DIPR report.
The DGP further informed that in order to look into the affairs of border areas, Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Border will also be deputed shortly.
“The strength of the Police force of Longleng would be upgraded to SP level to strengthen the Police force,” the officer added, as per the DIPR.
