Wokha, January 30 (MExN): A1 Tsungiki and Vankhosung FC today won their respective matches in the ongoing 10th edition of the Lotha Football Championship at local ground Wokha.
The ongoing championship is organized by the Wokha District Football Association.
The first match of the day between Young Generation and Humtso FC ended in 1-1 draw, with Elias and Roland respectively scoring one each for their team. In the second match A1 Tsungiki defeated RCR FC by 5-2.
Tsungiki’s Silo became the first player to score hatrick in the ongoing tournament by scoring in the 16th, 55th and 64th minute. Yanzothung Kikon added two goals for the team.
Vankhosung FC defeated Midland Youth Organisation (MYO) by 3-1 in the third match.
Elothung, Yanrenthung and Worhon Kikon contributed a goal each for Vankhosung FC while the lone goal for MYO came from the boots of Rena.
Officials from Nagaland Referee Association are assisting the organizers in officiating the tournament, informed a press release from WDFA General Secretary Zuben.
