The Lotha Middle Range Students' Union (LMRSU) organised the Third Dr Anthony Patton Academic Excellence Award programme at Sanis Multi- Purpose Hall, Sanis on May 25.
At the event, LMRSU President Wonchibemo B Ovung congratulated all the students who have successfully cleared their recent HSLC and HSSLC Examinations.
He also conveyed the message from the late Dr Anthony's family in his Presidential address followed by Chonbenthung B Mozhui, General Secretary of LMRSU, who felicitated the toppers and the meritorious students from the range.
The awards sponsored by the family of late Dr Anthony.
Chonbenthung also highlighted about the students enrolled, appeared and the pass percentage of the students in HSLC and HSSLC Examinations of all the Government and private institutions within the range.
Thechamo Ovung, Chairman LMRVCCU congratulated and encouraged the successful students to keep the consistency and to add more feathers to their head as they venture ahead in life out of the comfort zone.
Meanwhile, John Murry, President LMRPO and Orenbomo P Tungoe, General Secretary PPO in their greetings motivated the students to stay focused and to always stay hopeful and perform their work with dedication and truthfulness so as to be successful and content in life.
Mhachilo Yanthan, Top 1 HSLC 2024 and Eliyani R Ovung, Top 8 HSLC 2024 delivered a short speeches during the event.
The programme was chaired by Mhao Ngullie, Invocation prayer offered by Yantsuthung Erui, Pastor Sanis Town Baptist Church. In addition, a prayer of blessing for the students was pronoucned by Khodao Mozhui, Pastor Hajang Baptist Church.
Mercy Kithan, Literary Secretary LMRSU pronounced Vote of Thanks after which the Benediction prayer was led by Orenboni Erui, CNY Director Sanis Village Baptist Church.
