DIMAPUR, JULY 14 (MExN): The Lotha Middle and Lower Range People Coordination Committee (LMLRPCC) held a meeting at the town hall, Bhandari on July 13 and approved the formation of an interim body known as the Lotha Public Organisation (LPO) headed by former MLA, Sulanthung Humtsoe as Chairman.
A press release from the LPO informed that the meeting was held “to review the lackadaisical attitude shown by the Lotha Hoho on the written letter given by the LMLRPCC on December 15, 2018 to reconsider and rectify their new team to follow the guidelines of the Lotha Hoho within a specific time of one month.” Despite this, no reply and response has been initiated by the Lotha Hohio, the LPO stated.
It informed that the meeting saw the attendance of 94 Lotha villages “to hammer out the unprecedented issue to bring unity and progress among the Lothas.” After a discussion, the house “unanimously approved” the formation of the LPO, it added. The newly formed organization also includes Zaremo Kikon as General Secretary and Chenikhon Yanthan as Finance Secretary.
