Lotha Regional Council NNC (PB) observes Naga National Martyrs’ Day 

Dimapur, October 18 (MExN): The Lotha Regional Council NNC (PB) observed the Naga National Martyrs’ Day on October 18. The Region remembered all the Naga Martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty of Naga people and land.


A press release from Ekyimthüng Patton, President NNC (PB), Lotha Region stated that the Region was concerned for the present critical situation in the land and appealed to one and all to maintain peace and work for Naga unity for the “best interest of our future and place to prevail in the Naga homeland.” The region on “this day re-affirm and stand on the resolutions adopted on 7th March, 2018 during the NNC general meeting held in Lotha region,” it added.


Stating that the NNC (PB) “always works for whole Naga people on the stand of non-violence, peace and unity for the Nagas,” it assured full support under the leadership of acting President Yillow Hümtsoe, Vice President Zhiongba Yimchunger and General Secretary V Nagi for the cause of Naga Freedom.
