Lotha Regional NNC supports present leadership

Wokha, June 2 (MExN): The Lotha Regional Council of Naga National Council (NNC) has accused Kiumukum of continually "creating confusion, hatred and division in Union Territory-1," NNC even after five years since he was expelled from the NNC on ground of cheating and misuse of fund.

A press release from LRC, NNC President, Yilow Humtsoe accused Kiumukum of collecting general public and business communities' money in Dimapur and Kohima in the name of NNC (N/A). The release said that all NNC members must “discard” him for the good of the society as “he knows nothing about Naga politics and this is for best interest of Naga freedom.”

It further stated that the Lotha Regional Council in particular and other members of NNC Parent Body stand behind the leadership of Z. Royim Yimchungrü and V. Nagi, the Acting President and General Secretary respectively as “they are committed and dedicated leaders for Naga freedom striving for peace and unity of Naga people in the homeland...”

The Lotha Regional Council blessed the leadership and prayed to God for wisdom, strength, guidance and endurance during the present crisis.
