Dimapur, June 8 (MExN): The Land Owners’ Union, Doyang Hydro Electric Project (LOU/DHEP) office has re-constituted and appointed office bearers and committee members for the current tenure 2008-09 with immediate effect.
The president of the union Y. Odyuo in a press note informed that the re-sizing of the Union team is done following the judgment order of the Court of the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha dated 7th April 2010 vide No. Dev. 54/2005-06 (DHEP) and as per advice given to the Union to find a permanent settlement within the Union by accommodating the former office bearers of other group who have withdrawn the legal case from the High Court in support of Y. Odyuo and team to lead LOU/DHEP.
The office bearers and committee members are as follows: president-Y. Odyuo; working president-Wopan Lotha; general secretary-Chumbemo Murry; vice president-Kahuto Achumi, Peter Jami, Luhevi N Shohe, Nchumbemo Humtsoe; finance secretary- P. Zanthungo Patton; joint finance secretary-N. Thungjamo Kithan; joint secretary finance-Vanjamo Yanthan, Yipomo Patton, Rikhyo Kikin, Mhondamo Shitri and press secretary-Roland Ezung. One post of press secretary/joint secretary and vice president are on temporary basis. A five member team of disciplinary committee was also elected including Habemo Shitri, Y. Woben Tungoe, Nrao Murry, Yanpemo Patton and Nivito Sema.
