MTABC youths reach out to Naga Burmese village
Medziphema, April 29 (MExN): The Crusaders Club under the Youth Department of the Medziphema Town Ao Baptist Church (MTABC) visited Pounyiu Village, a Naga Burmese village bordering New Pangsha under the aegis of the ‘Love Burma Mission.’
The team which consisted of Agricultural Scientists and Technical Experts conducted seminars and workshops on training on agriculture, pest control and management. Hands on demonstration for preparing of compost for manuring, preparation of nursery beds for raising of vegetable seedlings were demonstrated besides distribution of good quality vegetable seeds, health and sanitary items
Love Burma Mission is an initiative of the Chang Baptist Church Council and is supported by various churches and organization from Nagaland. The mission aims at providing education and health care to the Naga villages across the border.
The members of the Crusaders Club, Medziphema Town Ao Baptist Church who participated in the mission trip included Ojenchuba Jamir, Imtinaro Jamir, Dr. Chubatemsu Ozüküm, Dr. Sentirenla Jamir, Dr. Imti Walling, Dr. Moakala Changkiri, Moa Sair, Tiayanger, Samalemla and Sentilong Ozüküm.
