‘Love Nagaland’ prayer day held in Dimapur

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 6 (MExN): ‘Love Nagaland’ --- an Initiative of Father's House Church conducted a prayer for Dimapur and for Nagaland on September 6 at Hill Star, Eros Lane. 

Welcoming the gathering, Rev Robert Kikon, Senior Pastor of Father's House Church said "Today we are here with a spiritual act of humility and unity with a sacred trust to shape the future of our land so Nagaland will fulfill her spiritual destiny.”

He also added that “there is no place for panic for the body of Christ because we know God is in control"`.

The Love Nagaland Prayer Day was attended by Church leaders from various denominations and civil society leaders and political parties. The Commissioner of Police, Dimapur was also in attendance with all social distancing and SOPS in place. 

The worship was led by New Wine, Worship Band of Father's House and the speakers who led the prayers included Rev Moses Murry, President Dimapur Christian Forum, Rev James Ngullie, Rev Ravi Agarwal, Rev Asabe Chuilo, Lumdemo Kikon from Indian Evangelical Mission and Brother Nune Kire, Proprietor of Shamrock International School. 

Prayers were led by the Church leaders for the government, for the Churches in Nagaland, business community and entrepreneurs, citizens of Dimapur, for all frontline workers including the Police and security forces, youths and all citizens of Dimapur.

The prayer day concluded with a “challenge to the Body of Christ to awake and seize this God given opportunity for a season of great harvest of souls and a call to all Naga Political Groups to reconcile, restitute and forgive.”
