Longleng, August 14 (MExN): Low Budget Street Painters is a union of five friends namely Henok Phom of Yachem Village, N Phamchong Phom of Orangkong village, Tokmei Phom of Orangkong village, I Bauom Phom of Yaongyimchen village and B Hankham Phom of Yongnyah village.

According to a DIPR report, a group of friends came together for the betterment of society and recently established Low Budget Street Painters on June 10, 2020 with an aim of beautifying the streets of Longleng Town. It initially started as a joke between the friends during their leisure time of discussion. And they came to the realization that they should put forward their ideas into action.

(LBSP) is a non-profit self sponsored organization and apart from painting they also clean up drainage and abandoned walls and make sure the surrounding they work is neat and tidy. The project works are also uploaded in social media. They mostly work on public charity and their aim is to cover up the abandoned walls and streets of Longleng with their work of art. Projects are decided according to convenience and budget which is a big challenge for them. They all are undergraduate students and they have completed four to five projects within a month time.

The LBSP has urged young Nagas to do something good for our society during this time of pandemic and has also thanked well wishers who have helped them in various ways.
