DIMAPUR, AUGUST 8 (MExN): The Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) and Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) in separate press statements have cautioned the government departments in the district not to entertain the practice of transfer with post under any circumstances.
The LSU in a representation addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha said it has received a number of public grievances in the district on this issue. It cautioned that it will not hesitate to take own course of action, for which the concerned Head Of Department (HoD) would be held responsible if any government employee is transferred along with the post from Wokha district.
Besides, to avoid any inconvenience in any government department, the Union has notified all HoD in the district not to entertain any transfer without a reliever to the said post. It also asked all the HoD to be in station and perform their duties as per assigned and designated duties efficiently.
The LYH meanwhile said it opposed any entity trying to fragment the “unity and integrity of the Lotha community.” Any act of such nature shall be viewed treason and shall be dealt befittingly, it cautioned.
