DIMAPUR, AUGUST 29 (MExN): Former Director General of Assam Rifles, Lt Gen Shokin Chauhan has been appointed as the new chairman of the Cease Fire Monitoring Group (CFMG) by the Government of India with its headquarter in Kohima. Chauhan is replacing DK Pathak, IPS whose tenure ended on August 9, 2018. According to a confirmed source, the former DGAR reported for his new assignment on August 28.
