Kohima, December 6 (MExN): The Chiechama students’ union (CSU) will organize its third edition of R. Sanchu memorial trophy (Sepaktakraw both men and women) on December 15 at Chiechama. The trophy is a biennial event, to pay tribute to its leader, Lt. Rüsolhoulie Sanchu, the first president of the CSU formed in 1948. Naibalie Rio, Public Relation Officer to Chief Minister and Mhalezolie Metha, Chiechama village council will grace the function as the chief guest and guest of honor respectively. The running trophies of both men and women of the 2011 memorial trophy were donated by Lt. R. Sanchu’s family and the 3rd edition is sponsored by Vibeilie Metha and Vikuo Metha.
