
Kohima, June 5 (MExN): The NDPP 8th Western Angami Assembly Constituency organised a memorial service of Er Kevisekho Kruse on June 4 at North Town Higher Secondary School, Chümoukedima.
Er Kevisekho Kruse, Retired Chief Engineer PHED Nagaland, who passed away on June 4, 2021 during the pandemic, contested the elections from 8th Western Angami Assembly Constituency in 2018 as NDPP candidate.
Kruse was also the proprietor of North Town Higher Secondary School. The school for the first time distributed Er Kevisekho Kruse Memorial Award to the meritorious students of both HSLC & HSSLC with cash and citation.
Addressing the memorial service, Salhoutuonuo Kruse, wife of Er Kevisekho Kruse acknowledged the gathering and well wishers for their presence and support.
A book in memory of Er Kevisekho Kruse titled “A tribute to my dad” was released at the service.
It was written by his daughter Zaserieno (Gracy) Kruse Khamo.
