Kiphire, January 10 (MExN): The 44th session of the Langzanger Village Students Union was held on December 28 and 29 last with Achumse, former president, Eastern Naga Students Union Guwahati as the main speakers.
Speaking on the theme 'Education in emergencies' Achumse asked the students gathered to get education for humanitarian cause which is the greatest value of education.
He also said, education should bring about happiness, balance life and also self dependent and if education does not possess these qualities it does bear no value.
Sharing his observation the speaker also asked the gathering to reason against illogical thought which bears no fruit.
He also encouraged the students to get exposed to the outside world and learn how things are going so as to catch up with time.
Cultural display, literary competition and sports were the highlights of the two day event.
