Wokha, October 24 (MExN): The Department of Land Resources under District Project Officer, Wokha handed over machineries to project villages under PMKSY WDC 2.0 (Livelihood & Micro-Enterprise Component) at Multi-Purpose Hall, Sanis, Wokha on October 23.
A DIPR report stated that EAC Aitepyong, Pukha Lam, who was the special guest on the occasion encouraged the farmers to work diligently with dedication and sincerity, and also encouraged them to avail the various benefits provided by the department. He urged the farmers to judicially utilize the machineries provided in enhancing their livelihood income as well as to contribute for the benefit of the community in general.
DPO Wokha, Puthuto Natso highlighted to the farmers on the importance of the PMKSY WDC-2.0 project activities. He further reminded the beneficiaries that the department is fully prepared to assist the farmers technically and in all other possible ways.
Machineries such as power tiller, rice mill and rubber sheet roller mac were distributed during the programme. The programme was attended by 22 beneficiaries from three villages.
