The 11th edition of ‘Made in DABA’ showcased the creativity, talent, and skills of young entrepreneurs through 32 stalls at the Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA) Sumedem Fellowship ground on October 6.

Organised by the DABA Youth Ministry under the theme “Promoting Indigenous Products of DABA Young Entrepreneurs,” the exhibition featured handmade and indigenous products, including crochet, food and artwork.

DABA YM Youth Director Maongtoshi said ‘Made in DABA’ began in 2016 to promote and encourage young entrepreneurs within DABA. While these products have the potential to reach markets beyond Dimapur and Nagaland, he noted the lack of proper channels and platforms for wider exposure.

He also highlighted unemployment as a major concern, saying such initiatives encourage young people to turn their interests and skills into productive ventures. Nagaland’s youth, he added, have the talent to compete at national and global levels if given the right platforms.
