Kohima, May 17 (MExN): ‘MadMay: A tale of two tours’ is a musical event organized to feature a triad of some of the best rock bands of the season. MadMay merges two tours - one from the West and the other from the East - to give us an awesome rock music experience like never before.
Managed by imagi.NATION, the event will be held at The Heritage, Old DC Bungalow, Kohima on May 27from 6:00 pm onwards.
The bands performing are aswekeepsearching, Hindi post-rock band from Pune, About Us, hard-rock band from Wokha, and Imliakum and the Electric Cool Kid - indie/folk rock band from Dimapur.
Making their second visit to the capital, aswekeepsearching are tagging along their Chasing Light tour: a tour hitting ten cities across India.
“About Us will be playing their first live show to kick off their maiden tour at the heart of the capital; they will be playing in three more districts namely Dimapur, Mokokchung and their hometown Wokha,” stated a press release received here.
A number of stalls will be set up to cater to your every need; from food and drinks to various merchandise. Tickets are available in two categories – Rs 499 for the general public and Rs 299 for the students, provided their student ID cards are shown. Pre Bookings are open both online and offline. Tickets will be available on site at the event as well.
