DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 17 (MExN): The Chozuba Town Chakhesang Students’ Union has expressed concern over the need for maintaining peaceful atmosphere in its jurisdiction for the students who will be appearing HSLC and HSSLC examination soon after the State General Assembly Election.
In a press statement, the Union reminded all the political leaders, party campaigners and the general public to create and maintain a peaceful favorable ambience for the students to prepare for their exams. While stressing on the importance of both election and examination and the need for public participation and shared responsibility of all the citizens, the Union appealed to the parents of the students, leaders of different organizations, political party leaders and all general public to maintain a balance for both.
It further directed the students to stay calm and also restrict from involving in petty politics. The Union also directed all the administrators of educational institutions, hostel wardens, parents, and house owners to restrict their students/children/tenants to go out and roam about in the town after 6:00 pm unless it is very necessary.
