Lazami, March 16 (DIPR): In a major inferno on March 15 at Lazami village under Pughoboto Sub-Division, an eighty years old man identified as Akhalu was charred to death and six houses including the building of the village youth organization were burned down affecting several families. The fire was dozed off by the villagers averting further damage. The District Administration and police rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation. However the cause of the fire could not be ascertained till the time of filing the report.
