A major landslide occurred along National Highway 2 (Kohima-Wokha road) near NU Kohima Campus Meriema junction this morning.
Chief Engineer, National Highways, Nagaland has advised travellers to take the detour through the Civil Secretariat road till the road is cleared. The department has deployed the required machineries but was unable to clear the road till late evening today because of the continuing mud/land slides.
