MOKOKCHUNG, JANUARY 9 (MExN): Mopungchuket Ait Laishir Telungjem (MALT) emerged as the overall champions of the 42nd Asetkong Kaketshir Telungjem Mungdang (AKTM) Sports Meet 2020 held at Kubolong, Mokokchung. MALT won three of the seven events that featured in the two-day sports meet.
There was also an open marathon race as part of the sports meet that was held under the theme “Discover Asetkong” on Thursday morning.
In the marathon boys’ category, Lanumoa of MALT Mopungchuket, Imjungtangit of KKT Kubolong and Yokaba of CKT Chami won the first, second and third places respectively. In the girls’ category, Kilemsungla of LKT Longjang won the first place while Toshitula and Putusenla, both from MALT Mopungchuket, finished second and third respectively.
