Dimapur, July 7 (MExN): Dimapur Police today informed that one man passed away at the District Hospital Dimapur on July 5 and has asked claimants to contact the police in order to claim the body.
On July 6, the Dimapur Police received a report from a doctor at District Hospital, Dimapur, regarding the death of a male patient named Akash, aged 30. According to the doctor, Akash was admitted to the hospital's male ward for medical care but reportedly died around 4:30 PM on July 5, a press release from the Dimapur Police informed.
The East Police Station duty party conducted an inquest of the body. An examination revealed that the patient had been brought to the emergency room on June 30, as an unknown case without any attendant. The patient subsequently died during treatment. The cause of death is suspected to be natural.
Following the completion of all legal formalities, the body was moved to the District Hospital morgue for family identification and claimant.
