In a bizarre incident in Dimapur today, a man was rushed to the hospital after reportedly stabbing himself. The incident happened on the road at the Golaghat road inter-state bus stand in the afternoon. As per the police, a 31 year-old man was taken to the hospital with a kitchen knife embedded in the chest just above the stomach. It was, as per the man, self inflicted with the police stating it was still to be established as what caused the man to take the step. He was reported to be a resident of Chumukedima and was identified as one Lato.
