The Tuensang Unit of Nagaland Manchester United Supporters Club (N-MUSC) on April 29 visited frontliners stationed in Tuensang town and provided tea and refreshment to the teams on COVID-19 duty.
With contribution from the Tuensang Unit members, the drive was initiated to show gratitude and appreciation to the frontliners who are working to keep the citizens of Tuensang safe.
"When we came up with this initiative, everyone was more than happy to help and contribute. Even members of our unit, who are stranded in cities outside the state sent in contributions due to which this drive was possible," a member of the Tuensang Unit N-MUSC told The Morung Express.
The N-MUSC Tuensang team visited the main entrance gate to the town areas such as Eshou Check Post and Kiphire road Post which is manned by the Medical Team, Police personnel, DBs and Ward leaders. They also visited the Institutional Quarantine Centre at Sao Chang College, Tuensang District Hospital and Chief Medical Office. Besides these offices, the team also reached out to the Police and Traffic personnel on duty in the town areas.
