Peren: Mandarin Orange Farm School at Lemangki under ATMA, Peren block was inaugurated on May 20 with Albert Ezung, SDO Civil Peren as the special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Albert Ezung encouraged the farmers to make use of the opportunities made available to them by agri and allied departments and to increase their production for sustainability, informed a press release.
Convener, ATMA Peren, imparted training on insect pest and disease to the participants. The activities of ATMA, concept of farm school and role of farm school teacher were highlighted by Dietholhou Rhakho, BTM.
Altogether 35 farmers attended the programme. Mapeuheile Ndang AO, BTT Convener, Peren block ATMA chaired the programme, followed with welcome address by Yezaho Swu, Dy. PD ATMA Peren.
