Mangkolemba, February 6 (DIPR): The monthly Mangkolemba SDPDB meeting was held on February 5 at ADC’s conference Hall. Additional Deputy Commissioner, T. Imtiwabang Aier chaired the meeting.
Agenda regarding fencing of the Government acquired land at Merangmen/Tsurangkong, proposed by Border Magistrate, was discussed and the Board approved to forward the matter to the higher authority for further action.
It discussed on replacement of electric posts proposed by the Council. In regard to the replacement of PHED pipes at Mangkolemba town, ADC requested the public to extend their assistance and co operation when the work begins. ADC further requested all the doctors to arrange and organise a medical camp under the Sub Division. During the meeting, all the Block Development Officers are informed to encourage the Village Development Boards to open a fixed deposit in State Bank of India and to the NGO’s.
Discussing on the damaged road, the Board decided to have a meeting with the town council, contractors, PWD Department and the administration at the earliest regarding repairing the damaged roads by laying cables. To promote peaceful atmosphere in the border areas under Mangkolemba Sub Division the board discussed to have Inter State community Programme, meanwhile Goanburas and Dobashis will survey the land in the borders areas.
