Mangkolemba, January 8 (DIPR): The monthly meeting of the Mangkolemba Sub Division Planning and Development Board was held on January 5 at ADC office conference hall. ADC, T. Imtiwabang Aier welcomed all the members and also introduced and welcomed the new SBI Manager, Kreho Athili to the house and further reviewed the last meeting minutes. Deliberating on the agendas viz., to provide NST Bus service from Longchem to Mokokchung and Dimapur and to construct a protection wall at GPS Dibuia, the Board approved to forward the proposed agendas to the higher authority for further necessary action. During the meeting it was decided that the SDPDB members would be visiting the villages under Mangkolemba Sub-Division to know the management and usage of department funds sanctioned, starting from February. The members would first begin the visits from Alongkima on February 6. Imtiwapang Aier further directed all the village councils under the Sub-division to inform the villagers and public to abstain from hunting of wild animals and also the endangered hornbill bird which has been sighted in the area.
