Dimapur, September 20 (MExN): The Mao Hoho Dimapur has strongly condemned the “barbaric act of armed miscreants of Northern Maram Union (NMU) for burning down houses and hotels at Makhan Opriingho (Makhan Bridge) under Senapati District, Manipur during the wee hours of September 17.”
The Mao Hoho Dimapur in a condemnation note stated that the “barbaric act has rendered many homeless and also taken away their means of livelihood. No words are enough to condemn such acts during the present and crucial times when Nagas need Peace and Unity in earnest.” The Hoho offered moral support to the victims and prays that the Almighty guide them out of their loss and misery. It also fervently appeals the concerned authority to “arrest the culprits and settle the issue amicably before the situation spirals out of control.”
