The Mao Town Weekly Market was inaugurated on May 2 by L Dikho, Minister of PHED, Printing & Stationery, Manipur, in the presence of Athem Muivah, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Senapati District and other dignitaries from the District. Organised by the Town Committee, Mao Bazaar Union and Youth Group, the inaugural of the market witnessed 77 farmers selling fresh local vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, flowers, craftwork etc.
