Dimapur, November 7 (MExN): The MGMHSS Dimapur organized Fete and sale day cum food carnival on November 5 to mark the 11th remembrance of its founder Bishop HG Dr Stephanos Mar Theodosius, a great visionary and the first Bishop of Calcutta diocese of the Orthodox Syrian Church.
A holy communion was celebrated in memory of the late Bishop and the remembrance speech was delivered by Fr PS Varghese followed by the inauguration of Mar Theodosius charity day.
Craft sale, food courts, face painting, games etc were the important items of the carnival. The school teaches students craft making and other soft skills training and the craft sale will go to student’s welfare and charity.
The event was also attended by parents and well wishers. The Mar Theodosius Meritorious award (MTM) was awarded to the toppers of every class in remembrance of the founder Bishop since 2008.
