Maram Bazaar Village Authority clarifies

Senapati, May 21 (MExN): In regard to the arrest of one SP Mesiingaolou with contraband drug at 6th mile area Chümoukedima by the Nagaland Excise Narcotic Cell personnel, the Maram Bazaar Village Authority (MBVA), Senapati has clarified that he is not a resident of Maram bazaar Senapati, Manipur. In a press release, the village authority has expressed deep concern and disappointment “to tarnish the reputation of its village by spreading by such misinformation and negativity.” MBVA General Secretary, Aloysius Luikang in the press statement said that it was “disheartening to see its village name being dragged in such baseless and wrong claim by the citizen who is not from the village and urged to issue public apology and retract defamatory statement.”
