Tuensang: Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang T. Mhabemo Yanthan inaugurated the rest house at Mashiku Wild Life Sanctuary, at Noksen on April 26. Almost all the district administrative officers leaded by ADC Tuensang accompanied him.
Mashiku Wild Life Sanctuary is a local wild life reserved under the care of the Noksen Village Community. Here in the reserve we can find many wild animal including stag and python etc. to shelter the visitors to the sanctuary a rest house was installed under the district innovation fund.
Speaking on the occasion the chief quest of the programme stressed on the positive approach towards the reservation of the wild life. The importance of the preservation will be a legacy of the present generation toward the future. He also challenged the governmental officers present in the programme to think on the development of the sanctuary and try to give importance to the project. He also shared the idea of having consultative awareness meetings with the neighboring villages to spread the idea of ongoing preservation project. Economic and Employment agendas should be generated in a form of a business for the unemployed youngsters. He also congratulated the village community in general and village elders for understanding the intellectuals idea of the having the project which turned out to be a successful one.
ADC Tuensang Robert Longchari, Tia Meren Chang SDO (C) Tuensang, H. Chuba Chang Ex-Minister Nagaland and I. Sanbga Hd. GB Noksen also gave short speeches. Highlighted the history of the birth and development of this project and how to maintain and keep going setting example to the rest of the state.
