
Kohima, November 25 (MExN): In view of the upcoming Statehood Day Celebration and Hornbill Festival, Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, Shanavas C has informed that a mass social work will be conducted on November 30.
In this connection, the DC, through the State DIPR, has directed all district offices, shop owners/ business establishments to participate in the mass social work which be conducted from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
It also informed that Department-wise work distribution would be notified shortly. All shops/business establishments will remain closed from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on the day of mass social work and all shops owners will ensure that their respective shops and its surroundings are cleaned/white washed during the period, the DC’s notification stated.
Meanwhile, the DC who is also vice-chairperson of the Kohima District Planning and Development Board, informed that the Board’s monthly meeting for November would be held alongside the Annual DPDB day-out-cum- Advent Christmas on November 29. The day’s programme would begin from 11:00 AM at the Youth Recreational Hall at Pfuchama under 14th Southern Angami I A/C, it informed.
All members have been requested to take note the date and time and make it convenient to attend the programme positively, it added.
