The District Administration, Kiphire Town Council, PWD(R&B) & NHPWD organized a mass social work at Kiphire opening up the closed drains, using the machineries of NHPWD and the citizens of Kiphire on August 6.
The social work was led by the Deputy Commissioner Kiphire Sedevikho Khro and he personally supervised the work. He also appealed to the citizens to take care of one’s surrounding so that one lives a healthy life.
Officials from District administration, KTC, and Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) and NHPWD were also actively supervising the work to make sure that the blocked drains which cause lot of inconveniences along the highway and the neighborhoods were cleared during the social work.
KTC and PWD employees were also fully engaged to dig up the unattained dustbin in the wards for many months.
