Mass social work at Peletkie Village

Peren, July 30 (MExN): A mass sanitation-cum-cleanliness awareness drive was conducted at Peletkie Village on July 30 by Peren Government College with encouraging number of participants from the faculty, staff and students of the College.  

Apart from cleaning the roads and footpaths in the village and the premises of the Village Primary School, Peren Government College also donated plastic waste baskets which were strategically put-up in and around the village.  

It may be mentioned that, Peren Government College have earlier adopted Peletkie Village as its ‘Best Practices’ for the year 2016-2017 under the aegis of the ‘Research, Consultancy & Extension Cell’ (IQAC) of the College. During the adoption period, the College endeavours to carry out various programmes in the village including sanitation and cleanliness drives, research projects, folk lore preservation, health talks and medical camps.
