Massive preparation for Angami Christian Revival Youth Association golden jubilee

Massive preparation got underway here for the forthcoming golden jubilee celebration of Angami Christian Revival Youth Association (ACRYA), scheduled for January 25 to 27 at D. Khel Ground, Seikhazou, Kohima village under the theme “The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.”


Briefing media persons here today, the host CRC Kohima village and organizing committee informed that they are expecting more than 5000 delegates.


Ten different committees have been constituted and engaged in various works for the success of the celebration, said organizing committee convenor Neikuosielie Rhiepfii.


The speakers of the celebration will include Rev. Dr. Neivotso Neikha, Mission Director, North East India CRC, Rev. Dr. Neikedozo Paphino, president NCRC and Kelhoulelie Zatsu, traveling pastor Naga Hospital Colony CRC.


The resource persons will include; Vilelie Khamo, Class I contractor, Dr. Kikrukuolie Kire, (former president) deputy director animal husbandry & veterinary services, Pusanyii Rupreo (Ist joint secretary) and Neisevo-ii Linyii (Ist treasurer).


Five choirs for the celebration will include Chakhro Christian Revival Youth Fellowship, Southern Angami Youth Union- CRC, Northern Angami Christian Revival Youth Fellowship, Western Angami Christian Revival Youth Fellowship, Kohima Town Christian Revival Youth Fellowship and jubilee choir.


Praise and worship will be led by CYE, CRC Kohima village.


The monolith will be unveiled by Rev. Visielie Soliezuo, chairman ACRCC on January 25 at 2:00 PM from Mission Centre while opening ceremony will start from 4:30 PM onwards at D. Khel Ground.


50 flags, marking the glorious golden jubilee, will be unfurled by Rev. Vitsiepielie Nguzhii, former vice president while jubilee song will be dedicated by Rev. Razouvizo Tetso, former vice president. Jubilee souvenir will be released by Ist secretary Rev. Guotsiilie Sorhie.


The golden jubilee logo was designed by Khriezo Suokhrie.


Host committee convenor Vizotuonyii Suokhrie informed that free city bus service will be provided from Kohima Local Ground to D. Khel Ground for delegates to reduce the volume of traffic jam. One can park their vehicle at the Kohima Local Ground and avail the provided bus there.


He also said that the host CRC Kohima village is arranging accommodation facilities for 2000 delegates.


Formed in 1969, ACRYA has five units. It includes; Chakhro Christian Revival Youth Fellowship, Southern Angami Youth Union- CRC, Northern Angami Christian Revival Youth Fellowship, Western Angami Christian Revival Youth Fellowship and Kohima Town Christian Revival Youth Fellowship.


“By the grace of God, we have around 6000 members at present,” said ACRYA president Kikruneilie Yiese.


“We, the ACRYA members and host church, would like to invite each and everyone in the blessed name of our Lord Jesus Christ to come and share God’s blessing,” Yiese said.
