Massive turn out at youth crusade in Kiphire

Kiphire, May 21 (MExN): Kiphire Town Baptist Lithro organized a three days youth crusade on the theme "Heart surgery" from Ezekiel 36:26-27 with Rev Robert Kikon, minister under Faith Christian Fellowship (FCF) International as the speaker.

The crusade held from May 16-18 was attended by nearly 2000 youths from different tribes as also parents and church elders, informed a press release received here. The speaker spoke about depending on God and taking responsibility for the brokenness in our society and going deeper in Christian life. He challenged the gathering to have God’s heart and bear fruit and to search God for the real comfort. Parent and child relationship was also addressed.

According to the note, the last service on Sunday saw massive attendance of both young and old where the speaker spoke on missions and influencing “our” offices, schools, profession for Christ’s glory and to never compromise with the evils in “our” land. “Our destiny is our responsibility. No one but we determine our destiny. Our responsibility is to ensure that we create a right environment that will help us to impact the next generation," asserted the speaker.
Counselling sessions were also conducted and the sick were prayed for during the crusade.

Brother Levi a missionary also under the FCF International spoke on living our dreams and shared about his experience while serving for 7 years as a missionary in South East Asia. Selongchem Thonger, a prayer counselor also shared his testimony from being a drug addict to Christ addict. The organizers have thanked everyone who attended the crusade and spoke and prayed that Kiphire will be transformed through the glory of God.
