DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 13 (MExN): Dr. Keveduyi Theyo, Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Dimapur, officially inaugurated the Minor OT for Maxillo Facial Surgery at the Dental Department of District Hospital Dimapur on December 13.
Dr. Keveduyi extended congratulations to the Dental Department for acquiring state-of-the-art equipment for conducting Maxillo Facial Surgery. He highlighted the significant benefits the facility will provide to the public, especially with the availability of dental X-rays and Minor OT for various dental procedures.
During the program, Dr. N. Moa Jamir, who chaired the event, expressed deep gratitude to all those who contributed to the successful establishment of the Minor OT for Maxillo Facial Surgery. He emphasized the importance of this specialized surgery, which focuses on reconstructive procedures for facial traumas, anatomical defects like cleft lips and palate, corrective jaw surgery, impactions, and other oral lesions of diverse origins.
Dr. Reyosalu Lase, Deputy Director (Dental) at Health & Family Welfare, Kohima, Nagaland, further reiterated the benefits of the Minor OT for Maxillo Facial Surgery at District Hospital Dimapur. She praised the collaborative efforts in bringing this valuable service to the community.
