MBMMTC: Training centre for pastors and Christian leaders

Dimapur, January 9 (MExN): The Assemblies of God of East India Mark Buntain Memorial Mission Training Centre (MBMMTC), located at Diezephe, Dimapur has inaugurated a new building for men’s dormitory in its campus. Rev. Dr. Huldah Buntain, President, AG Mission Kolkata graced the inaugural function as chief guest.

A press release issued by Rev Thebemo Yanthan informed that MBMMTC was established in the year 2010, with an aim to provide biblical training to pastors and Christian leaders who have not been to any full time theological college. All together the centre has trained 154 pastors right from its inception. They have undergone a two months Bible training programme provided by the Centre free of cost.

While speaking at the event, the chief guest exhorted the congregation to trust in God continuously, “who can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” Also, she said, the key to success in ministry is to be with God daily.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Rev. Thebemo Yanthan, Secretary, NDC, AGEI and Rev. Moses Murry, General Superintendent, AGEI gave the welcome and introduction address. Special songs were presented by the young people from the local church; Rev. T. Phesao, Director MBMMTC said the vote of thanks and the programme concluded with a prayer by Rev. K. Sanga Keivon, General Secretary, AGEI.
