MCC felicitates Nagaland University toppers

Model Christian College, Kohima felicitated two of its students who secured top ranks in the recently declared undergraduate results of Nagaland University.

KOHIMA, JULY 16 (MExN): Model Christian College, Kohima, on Wednesday felicitated two of its students who secured top ranks in the recently declared undergraduate results of Nagaland University.

The college recognised their academic achievements in a brief ceremony held at the college auditorium.

Tsuktimenla Chang topped the Bachelor of Science (Geology) stream with a CGPA of 9.19, securing the first rank, while Walunir Jamir, a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) student, secured the ninth rank with a CGPA of 8.85.

Both students were presented with Certificates of Excellence and awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000 each in recognition of their outstanding performance. Additionally, the Women’s Cell of the college awarded Tsuktimenla Chang with a cash prize for securing the highest CGPA among female students.

Speaking at the occasion, the college principal congratulated the students for their dedication and consistent effort, stating that their success reflects the college’s commitment to academic excellence. Faculty members of both departments were also acknowledged with cash awards for their contribution to the students and the institution.

Model Christian College stated that it continues to uphold high academic standards, striving to create an environment that fosters holistic development and scholarly pursuit.
