MOKOKCHUNG, AUGUST 10 (MExN): The Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has stated that certain traders in Mokokchung town are exploiting the current situation created by the ongoing truckers' strike and engaging in unethical business practices by unjustifiably raising prices of essential commodities.
Stating that such malpractices are not tolerated in Mokokchung, the MCCI has instructed these business traders involved in questionable practices to immediately cease and desist from such illegitimate actions. These are challenging times, and as responsible citizens, we should be assisting our valued customers rather than exploiting them, it stated.
On this, the MCCI has informed members of the business community that those resorting to unfair means should consider closing their businesses voluntarily before facing legal repercussions. Furthermore, the public has been encouraged to report any instances of such behavior to its office for necessary action. MCCI Office can be reached at- 9436006062; 9436442800; 9436605461.
