MOKOKCHUNG, JUNE 9 (MExN): The Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) visited Tuensang on June 8 and met representatives of various civil society organizations as well as the Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang.
The MCCI made a goodwill donation of Rs 1,00,000 to the Tuensang District Task Force on COVID-19 which was handed over to the Deputy Commissioner through the president of Tuensang Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TCCI), Dorothy Chang.
A brief interactive session was held at the Tuensang Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall between the visiting MCCI team and the Tuensang Deputy Commissioner, Kumar Ramnikant IAS in the presence of TCCI members and elders of Tuensang based tribal apex bodies.
Later, MCCI and TCCI had a special sitting at the latter’s office chamber wherein the business community of the two neighbouring districts exchanged views on improving ties between them with special focus on the post-COVID19 economic scenario.
