Mokokchung, October 31 (MExN): Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) Yimyu, conducted a two-day workshop on ‘Building a Caring World’ on October 25 and 26 with eight people from Initiatives of Change (IofC) India, as resource persons. MCTE Students Union, General Secretary, Imlikumba in a press release stated that the team shared personal experiences and their transformative journeys and demonstrated through group activities and interaction, the importance of trust building, peaceful co-existence and sustainable living.
IofC is a world-wide movement of people of diverse cultures and backgrounds, who are committed to the transformation of society through changes in human motives and behavior, starting with their own. Their vision is to create a just, peaceful and sustainable world where everyone responds to the call of conscience and make their unique contribution.
