Mokokchung | January 14 : The first league round of the on going 21st Inter Club Cricket Tournament organized by the Mokokchung District Cricket Association came to an end today, which left only 6 of the initial 22 participating teams in the pry for the district’s most coveted cricket championship title. The 22 participating teams were divided into 6 groups, out of which the top team from each group after league matches moved forward to the Super Six League. In this round, winners of Groups A, B and C are clubbed as Group X while winners of Groups D, E and F are clubbed as Group Y. Each group will play a league round, and the leading team from each group will qualify for the final match, to be played on January 19 next.
